Important Note:
Because East African shea butter is a soft butter, it is more sensitive to temperature changes during transit. East African shea butter may melt at temperatures as low as 22 degrees Celsius. If you receive the product in a liquid or semi-liquid form you can restore its consistency by placing it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

The shea nut tree is known locally as the ‘moo-yahoo tree’ which are grown naturally in Uganda and bare fruit once a year. Shea butter nuts are wild harvested by the local women then washed and dried in the sun. Processing is 100% chemical free ensuring a pure, natural and organic end product. We also donate 5% of our profits to educating underprivileged children in Uganda via the R.A.I.S.E Institute.
