What is it?
Gumby Gumby is a rare member of the botanical family Pittosporum. It is a shrub or small tree, that looks similar to a Eucalyptus tree & it is native to Australia. Eucalyptus or Gum trees have long trunks with leaves at the top whereas the Gumby Gumby is distinguished by having leaves along the entire tree length.
Whilst six varieties can be found in the State of Queensland alone, it is wise to be careful when harvesting Gumby Gumby leaves as some of the varieties are toxic and only a few have a good, aromatic taste and are beneficial.
If you do not enjoy the bitter, peppery taste, you can add Manuka honey to enhance the flavor
The Gumby Gumby tree is extremely rare, as only one edible tree is found growing naturally in an average of 400 sq/km (250 sq/miles) and it is not being farmed to any large extent.
The body can heal itself if given the correct natural products, so as this tree is native to Australia, it is most definitely worth a try.. Aboriginals are very spiritual themselves so that in itself is a very special connection.
We are blessed to have two varieties of the tree with the same process & results..
They are,
Gumby Gumby (Pittosporum phillyraeoides) leaves which was our original trees & since we have also sourced & growing
Gumby Gumby (Pittosporum angustifolium) leaves.
There are many variations and to avoid confusion the following names also refer to EXACTLY the same Australian Native Plant.
- Pittosporum Angustifolium
- Pittosporum Phylliraeoides
- Gumby Gumby
- Gumbi Gumbi
- Cumbi Cumbi
- Gumbi
- Native Apricot
- Weeping Pittosporum
- Meemeei
- Cattle Bush
- Bitter Bush
- Butter Bush
- Berrigan

Gumby Gumby means "woman woman medicine" in Ghungalu language — an Aboriginal people of central Queensland.
The words also mean "bush medicine" and "medicine tree" in different languages, but the name universally referred to a species of tree which Indigenous people around Australia have used for generations to heal sickness.
Elder Steve Kemp said he learnt about it from his father and grandfather.
"We learnt the medicine back in 1927 when Dad came to Woorabinda at six years of age," Mr Kemp said.
"They had no hospital, no housing, and so his old uncle used to cure every disease known to man at the time — and Dad had to get on the horse because old uncle was too old.

Such a momentous day in History!
Not only did I discover more of our magical trees that help so many, growing on the exact meridian for them to heal that the birds must have planted from our seeds but I also planted another 9 of these gorgeous Gumby Gumby trees today !

Just after I lost my dear Pop through lung cancer that spread & I too was his main carer x he also was my best friend & main supporter x I miss him everyday x
His loss combined with my identical twin spirit also led us to manifesting our magical property & the energy here is amazing x
It was a powerful healing place where many powerful healers would attune their energy weekly ..
Despite the previous owners now having dementia.. divine energy & synchronicity ensured what I needed to know would be revealed.a beautiful integrative doctor friend of mine made it known that our property was chosen many years ago to have a ceremony with powerful healers, doctors , aboriginal elders etc to plant a tree known as Gumby Gumby

Recently I have assessed the land for more meridians & have not only discovered more trees thriving on our property on the high meridian, but have planted more trees as well as propagating the seeds from the original tree, with the idea to have a plantation so I can help more people regain their health so they can live a life they deserve!

Recently Brees our daughter, had some miracles that medicine can’t explain as I’ve had people praying all around the world so graciously… Today she has another major operation planned to correct the restriction she has that came as a result of the previous major operation & scarring from being so unwell over the years .. that’s been causing the bowel blockages recently that’s nearly cost her her life & hopefully this surgery can correct & assist her .. Well at least a Doctor in the emergency actually did some investigations that revealed this before she went to the ward as it seems in emergency they care & they offer holistic care with listening to all viewpoints from nurses to doctors etc .. It’s in the ward , the junior doctors on weekends in particular are ego driven, don’t listen to the nurses input, who are actually doing the observations & witnessing the deterioration & so in the past she hasn’t had the care which is why I had to call Ryan’s rule which forces another team to investigate to get actin happening to save her life .. It’s been so stressful having to do that to get the care she should be receiving to save her life ? Now however the doctor in emergency did all the investigating in emergency before she went to the ward thank goodness.. another miracle which forces them to act & get her surgeons involved to help her .. With the restriction, the bowel obstructions would be ongoing so it has to be corrected.. We believe today she is having the major surgery but if not today in the next few days as it is a big operation & I’m not sure how they make the restriction bigger to help her .. ? We know they discovered this through the doctors at emergency & we are grateful & feel it is divine & so finally can trust & in doing so, this will help end the dramas we have had where we nearly have lost her several times so please please please keep the prayers coming as they are most certainly working & we are grateful x
